Lowcountry Strawberry Festival

The Lowcountry Strawberry Festival at Boone Hall Plantation continues to be one of the most popular events held in the South Carolina Lowcountry each spring. Over 11,000 people are expected to partake in the annual festival over 2 days. This year the festival will take place April 17^th and 18^th.

MESSA 8K for H2O

The 8^th annual Master of Environmental Studies Student Association (MESSA) 8K for H₂O at Folly Beach will be held on February 20, 2010 at 9 a.m.  There is both an 8K run and 5K walk slated for the event.  The race will start and finish in front of the Holiday Inn on Center Street.  All race proceeds are donated to a local non-profit working to improve water quality.  Drs. Lucas and Josh Cole will be donating their time to stretch participants after the race.

Charleston Area Tweet-Up

Drs. Luke and Josh, whose twitter handle is @chirocharleston, will be attending the Charleston area tweet-up on December 7, 2009.  The tweet-up is held so that users of twitter in the Charleston area can meet each other face to face.  The tweet-up will be held at Pattaya Thai Restaurant located in Mt. Pleasant at 607-C Johnnie Dodds Blvd.
